Self-Made Man is an experimental documentary, centered around a drag performer’s debut. This autobiographical film follows a gender-non conforming artist as they prepare for their first performance, while exploring the personal journey that shaped who they are today. Born in 1999, the 2000s impacted their ideals of masculinity and femininity, this performance is an expression of their queerness and struggles with the confining nature of labels. Lady Boner is an expression of Tiffany’s non-binary/gender fluid identity.
