Visions4 is providing the opportunity for further support by extending its 2013-2014 fundraising campaign to the general public.  Contributions to the event’s Indiegogo campaign will support undergraduate filmmakers and film scholars on the regional, national, and international level, by allow Visions to bring 10-15 young, creative minds to the University of North Carolina Wilmington campus to present their student work in a professional setting, where they can network with other film students and receive feedback in a public arena.

Visions is calling on YOU to donate funds towards our goal of $2750 before December 8th.

During its first three years, Visions provided travel assistance to 34 undergraduate film students from around the world. These students were able to share innovative and diverse perspectives by screening their films and presenting scholarly talks about film history and theory. They also participated in discussion panels, filmmaking workshops, and networked with the UNCW filmmaking community as well as the general student body. Visions has been described as an educational, challenging, exciting, and life changing applied learning experience.

To continue this trend of success, we need your help to ensure that Visions4 maintains the ability to provide travel assistance to its official selection presenters.
